Sabian's XSR series is closely related to the successful X-plosion and Evolution series. It even uses the same production techniques and Sabian's own secret B20 bronze alloy, but offers a much more affordable price tag. The Sabian XSR-1807B 18" Fast Crash is no exception. By making these into medium-thin cymbals, Sabian assured that they have the quick response of a thin model, while also providing the volume of a medium cymbal. Thanks to pin-point lathing and hammering and high-quality materials, this 18" crash provides a beautifully bright sound that is great for many different styles and genres.
